From "I’m Just Looking" to "Let’s Book It"
A Real-Talk Breakdown of the Funnels That Fill Your Calendar
Let’s skip the marketing theory and get straight to it:
If you want more bookings this summer, your content needs to meet people where they’re at—mentally, emotionally, and literally (scrolling TikTok at midnight while Googling “best Italy itinerary”).
They’re not all ready to book right now.
Some don’t even know advisors are a thing.
Some are deep in a Pinterest board called “Dream Trip Someday.”
That’s your funnel.
It’s not a sales pipeline. It’s a permission slip to show up in a way that gently (but intentionally) moves people from “hmm” to “heck yes.”
Let’s break it down by stage—with exact content ideas, captions, and post types for each one.
Stage 1: Awareness
"I didn’t even know travel advisors still existed."
At this point, people are travel-curious, not travel-committed. Your job here is to get on their radar in a non-salesy way and make them stop scrolling long enough to say: “Wait… this is a thing?!”
What to Post:
"Bet You Didn’t Know…" Reels
“Bet you didn’t know booking a honeymoon with a travel advisor can actually save you $$.”
Show your face. Use the native audio. Add a bold text overlay.
CTA: “DM me ‘honeymoon’ if you want the behind-the-scenes scoop.”3-Frame Carousels That Pop
Frame 1: “What does a travel advisor even do?”
Frame 2: “Short answer: Save you time, money, and stress.”
Frame 3: “Long answer: [bullet list of actual tasks]”"Before You Book That Flight..." Checklist Post
“Here’s what I’d double check first 👇”
• Passport expiry
• Entry requirements
• Your connection time in Frankfurt (yikes)
End with: “If this makes your head hurt, I’m one message away.”
Easy Caption Formula:
“Thinking about booking a trip but not sure where to start? This is for you.👇
Spoiler: You don’t have to figure it out alone. I do this every day—DM me ‘start’ and I’ll send you 3 trip ideas that match your vibe.”
Stage 2: Consideration
“This looks amazing. Should I use a travel advisor?”
This is where people are actively shopping. They’re price comparing, pinning resorts, and asking in group chats, “Does anyone have a good travel agent?”
Here, you want to build trust and show the value of working with you.
What to Post:

Stage 3: Decision (Booking Mode)
“I want to go. I just need someone to take this off my plate.”
This is where it’s easy to lose people—if you’re not crystal clear about how to book you, what happens next, and why now is the time to do it.
Your job: Make booking feel like a no-brainer.
